Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center Issues First License
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — The Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC) has issued its first license for an infrastructure project, marking a major milestone since it took over licensing responsibilities in the capital. The move supports faster execution and better planning in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Eng. Tariq bin Mohammed Al-Harbi, Deputy President of Operations, explained that the licensing rollout will follow a phased approach. The center will use direct electronic links with relevant agencies to speed up license approvals and verify data instantly.
Strategic Objectives and Urban Development
RIPC aims to boost efficiency in infrastructure planning and execution. It also works to strengthen coordination among stakeholders, support strategic partnerships, and improve the urban landscape to raise satisfaction for residents and project users.
To ensure clarity and speed, the center is unifying permit requirements and digitizing all project data. These efforts follow international best practices and promote full compliance with sustainability goals.
RIPC invites citizens and stakeholders to visit https://ripc.gov.sa for details on licensing procedures and regulations.
The Cabinet established the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center on July 19, 2023. Since then, it has focused on enhancing infrastructure quality, boosting investment efficiency, and advancing urban sustainability.
