BUENOS AIRES — The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSAA) is participating in the 2025 Buenos Aires International Book Fair, one of Latin America’s premier cultural events, running from April 22 to May 12. The Center joins the Saudi national pavilion organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, alongside several cultural and academic institutions.
This participation underscores the Kingdom’s growing cultural presence in Latin America, aiming to promote Arabic language and knowledge content to international audiences.
The KSAA showcase features a selection of the Center’s latest scientific publications, peer-reviewed journals, and digital knowledge tools. These span key programmatic areas including language policy, computational linguistics, educational initiatives, and cultural programming.
> “Our presence reflects the Center’s commitment to global engagement and our mission to promote Arabic as a modern and dynamic language of science and culture,” said Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi, Secretary-General of the KSAA.
The Center also highlights its digital platforms, designed to provide open, trusted resources for researchers, educators, and language enthusiasts worldwide.
According to Al-Washmi, the fair presents a strategic opportunity for cultural exchange and institutional collaboration, helping to further the Center’s goal of global leadership in Arabic linguistics and education.
This initiative aligns with the Center’s broader vision to expand Arabic’s presence in new cultural environments, build strategic partnerships, and support Arabic publishing across global markets. It also reflects Saudi Arabia’s emphasis under Vision 2030 on cultural diversity, international cooperation, and knowledge diplomacy.
