Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina — A Saudi delegation in Bosnia has taken significant steps to expand commercial ties and promote cultural cooperation between the two nations.
During the official visit, which took place between May 19 and 21, the Saudi delegation in Bosnia met with executives from BH Telecom, a top telecommunications provider, and Bingo, the country’s largest supermarket chain. As part of the discussions, both sides explored ways to strengthen cooperation in multiple economic sectors.
Moreover, the delegation reviewed BH Telecom’s use of advanced technologies and examined Bingo’s retail strategies. They also discussed the potential for Saudi products to enter Bosnian markets, helping to grow bilateral trade.
In addition, the delegation visited the King Fahd Cultural Center in Sarajevo. Delegates explored its initiatives designed to foster cultural exchange and deepen community connections. The center plays a vital role in promoting dialogue and enhancing people-to-people ties.
Officials emphasized that Saudi Arabia remains committed to expanding global partnerships. Notably, the visit aligns with broader national efforts to grow non-oil exports and increase access to international markets.
By advancing these goals, the Saudi delegation in Bosnia reinforced the Kingdom’s dual focus on economic diversification and cultural diplomacy. The meetings underscored Saudi Arabia’s strategy to act as a proactive and trusted international partner.
