SAL Logistics Pays 173.6M SAR Q3 Dividend

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co. will distribute 173.6 million SAR in interim cash dividends to shareholders for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026. The board approved the decision on November 2, 2026.

Each eligible shareholder receives 2.17 SAR per share. That represents 21.7% of the share’s par value. A total of 80 million shares qualify for the payout.

Dividend Details

Shareholders who hold SAL shares at the close of trading on November 9, 2026 will qualify for the dividend. Edaa, the Securities Depository Center, will register eligible shareholders at the end of the second trading day after that eligibility date. SAL will deposit dividends directly into shareholders’ investment accounts linked to their bank portfolios on November 24, 2026.

Non-resident foreign investors should note that a 5% withholding tax applies to cash dividends under Article 68 of the Income Tax Law and Article 63 of its Implementing Regulations. SAL urges non-resident investors who hold tax exemptions issued by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority to contact the Investor Relations team and submit supporting exemption documents before the distribution date.

Why It Matters

  • SAL maintains a consistent quarterly dividend cadence, signaling stable cash generation from its logistics operations.
  • The 2.17 SAR per share payout applies to all 80 million eligible shares.
  • Non-resident investors face a 5% withholding tax unless they provide valid exemption documentation to SAL’s Investor Relations department.
  • Shareholders must ensure bank accounts are linked to their investment portfolios to avoid payment delays on the November 24 distribution date.

What This Means for Investors

  • Eligible shareholders must hold SAL shares before the close of trading on November 9, 2026 to receive the dividend.
  • Payment arrives automatically on November 24, 2026 — no action required for resident shareholders with linked accounts.
  • Non-resident investors should act promptly: contact Investor.Relations@sal.sa with exemption documents to avoid the 5% withholding tax.
  • Confirming that bank account details are current with your broker reduces the risk of a delayed or missed payment.

THE SAUDI STANDARD’S VIEW: SAL LOGISTICS SIGNALS EARNINGS CONFIDENCE WITH SUSTAINED QUARTERLY PAYOUT

SAL Saudi Logistics Services continues to demonstrate the kind of disciplined capital return policy that income-focused investors prize in a listed company. The Q3 fiscal 2026 interim dividend of 173.6 million SAR reinforces SAL’s standing as one of Tadawul’s more predictable yield plays in the industrials and logistics space.

• CASH GENERATION DISCIPLINE ON DISPLAY

A quarterly dividend cadence of this scale requires sustained operational cash flow, not just accounting profit. SAL’s ability to maintain consistent per-share payouts across multiple quarters indicates that its core air cargo and ground logistics business is generating durable, distributable earnings. For investors evaluating dividend sustainability, this regularity carries more analytical weight than any single payout figure.

• SHAREHOLDER BASE AND FLOAT DYNAMICS

With exactly 80 million shares qualifying for the distribution, SAL’s capital structure remains tightly defined, limiting dilution risk and supporting per-share value calculations. A fixed float of this size also means institutional and retail investors can model future dividend yields with reasonable precision, making SAL an efficient holding for portfolio income strategies on the Saudi exchange.

• TAX EFFICIENCY IS A COMPETITIVE FACTOR FOR FOREIGN CAPITAL

The 5% withholding tax on dividends paid to non-resident foreign investors is a structural consideration that affects net yield calculations for international portfolio allocators. SAL’s proactive guidance on exemption documentation reflects a mature investor relations approach, and companies that actively assist foreign shareholders in navigating ZATCA requirements tend to attract more stable cross-border capital over time.

• OPERATIONAL RELIABILITY REFLECTED IN PAYMENT INFRASTRUCTURE

The direct-to-account payment mechanism through Edaa on a clearly defined settlement date reduces friction and counterparty uncertainty for shareholders. This level of payment infrastructure transparency is a marker of corporate governance maturity and aligns with the Capital Market Authority’s broader push to elevate listed company standards across Tadawul.

SAL’s logistics footprint — anchored in Saudi Arabia’s airports and supply chain corridors — positions it directly within the infrastructure priorities of Vision 2030. As the Kingdom builds out its ambition to become a global logistics hub connecting three continents, companies like SAL that combine operational scale with consistent shareholder returns represent precisely the private-sector profile that economic transformation demands. Sustained dividend performance is not merely a financial signal; it is evidence that the commercial engine powering Vision 2030’s logistics pillar is running.
