Saudi National Museum Launches Creative Summer Camp

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — The Saudi National Museum summer camp has officially begun, offering a hands-on educational experience that nurtures storytelling and creative thinking among children aged 10 to 15. Themed “Once Upon a Storyteller”, the camp is designed to inspire imagination through writing, theater, podcasting, and animation.

Creative Tracks and Cultural Discovery

The program aims to make the Saudi National Museum summer camp an unforgettable learning experience. Each child can explore their talents through four distinct tracks—writing, theater, podcast production, and animation—designed to develop storytelling skills and foster artistic expression. These sessions run Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in two waves: July 1–17 and July 15–25.

By blending culture and creativity, the museum allows children to connect with Saudi heritage while learning new communication and design skills. Through role-playing and collaborative activities, participants experience the joy of sharing stories in various formats.

Storytelling as a Path to Growth

This children’s cultural camp also connects young learners with the rich history of the Arabian Peninsula. Guided activities explore museum artifacts and reveal the stories behind them. These discoveries not only build cultural awareness but also cultivate pride and a sense of identity.
