Al-Baha, July 21, 2024 – The Al-Baha Literary and Cultural Club held a poetry evening today in collaboration with the Al-Dar Festival at Al-Mousi Heritage Village. The event was attended by numerous literary enthusiasts from the region.

The poets of the evening, Dr. Saleh Eidha Al-Zahrani, Ali Al-Mankouta, Abdulaziz Abu Lissa, and Saeed Abdullah Safer, presented a variety of poems that were well received by the audience. The poems covered various genres, including social, wisdom, and descriptive poetry, and featured profound meanings, metaphors, and diverse artistic expressions.

Hassan bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani, President of the Al-Baha Literary and Cultural Club, explained that the club contributes to summer activities with cultural programs and events, such as poetry evenings, intellectual seminars, and historical lectures. The club aims to enrich the local and Arab cultural scene through these activities.

He noted that this poetry evening, featuring a selection of distinguished poets, is part of the club’s ongoing efforts to cater to diverse literary and cultural tastes.

At the end of the evening, which was moderated by Abdullah Ghareeb, the audience was given the opportunity to participate with their contributions, enriching the event, followed by the recognition and honoring of the participating poets.
