Paris, France — The Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) has officially approved the Registration Dossier for Expo 2030 Riyadh, finalizing Saudi Arabia’s position as host of the global event. The BIE General Assembly granted the approval in Paris on June 17, 2025.
His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim Al-Sultan, Minister of State and Acting CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), led the Saudi delegation. The event concluded with the ceremonial handover of the World Expo flag to the Kingdom, signaling the formal start of preparations for Expo 2030 Riyadh.
