Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — The Tourism Development Fund (TDF) concluded the second edition of its Tourism Growth Accelerator 2025 in Riyadh. This marks another milestone in Saudi Arabia’s expanding innovation ecosystem. The Tourism Growth Center — the Fund’s non-financial enabling arm- organized this event. The program’s Demo Day brought together 17 startups, investors, and key players from both the public and private sectors.

TDF CEO Qusai bin Abdullah Al-Fakhri underscored the accelerator’s role in empowering Saudi entrepreneurs and strengthening the tourism ecosystem. “We are proud of the innovative ideas and projects entrepreneurs and startups present. This reflects the vitality of our tourism sector,” Al-Fakhri said. “The Fund remains committed to supporting these promising talents. It empowers communities and fosters a sustainable tourism environment that grows from small towns to major cities. This aligns with the National Tourism Strategy and Vision 2030.”

Empowering Startups Across Saudi Arabia

The Tourism Growth Accelerator 2025 showcased various tourism technology, services, and visitor experiences projects. The accompanying exhibition provided a platform for investors to engage with founders, explore innovative tourism solutions, and discuss potential partnerships.

Through initiatives such as accelerators, hackathons, and incubation programs, the Tourism Growth Center supports entrepreneurs with mentorship and advisory services and provides access to capital. To date, more than 9,000 entrepreneurs have benefited from these initiatives, and over 100 startups have successfully graduated and contributed to the tourism economy.

Supported projects under the accelerator have collectively attracted more than SAR 30 million in investments.
