Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — The Saudi Export Development Authority, also known as Saudi Exports, hosted its first-ever forum for licensed export houses in Riyadh. The event connected over 60 companies—members of the Made in Saudi program—with authorized export houses under the Export House Licensing service. The initiative aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports and increase their visibility in international markets.

The forum focused on key sectors including building materials, consumer goods, food products, and petrochemicals—all major contributors to the Kingdom’s non-oil export growth in recent years. It reflects Saudi Exports’ commitment to positioning national products globally and empowering the Saudi export ecosystem.

Connecting Exporters with Global Opportunities

The forum offered national companies the opportunity to meet directly with licensed export houses, representatives from the Saudi Export-Import Bank, and participants in the Saudi Export Incentive Program. These meetings allowed Saudi firms to present their products and innovations, receive feedback, and explore support mechanisms to boost global market penetration.

Launched during the second Made in Saudi exhibition in 2023, the Export House Licensing service enables companies to act as trade intermediaries, providing services at every stage of the export process. These partnerships aim to enhance local factory productivity and simplify cross-border trade for Saudi producers.

Boosting Non-Oil GDP by 2030

Saudi Exports Authority emphasized that this initiative contributes to national efforts to diversify income and achieve the Vision 2030 target of raising the share of non-oil exports to at least 50% of non-oil GDP. The forum represents a strategic move to enhance the competitiveness of Saudi products and services globally.
