Jeddah, July 21, 2024 – Al-Ittihad has rejected an offer from English club West Ham to acquire French midfielder N’Golo Kante.

Kante’s impressive performances with the French national team in the Euro 2024 tournament held in Germany have attracted interest from several European clubs, particularly those in the English Premier League. However, the French star is considered a key player in Al-Ittihad’s lineup, and the club has no intention of letting him go at this time.

According to the British newspaper The Athletic, West Ham submitted a £15 million offer to bring Kante back to the Premier League, where he previously excelled with Leicester City and Chelsea. However, Al-Ittihad’s management is not considering selling one of their standout players from last season. Kante has also expressed his commitment to his contract with Al-Ittihad and his happiness playing for the club.

While it is expected that West Ham might increase their offer and other clubs might make bids for Kante, it remains unlikely that Al-Ittihad will part with him as they continue their training camp in Spain.
