Yanbu – The Governor of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at,” Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, met with the Board of Directors of the Yanbu Chamber, in the presence of the Chamber’s Chairman, Eng. Fahd bin Ahmed Al-Ali, to explore avenues of cooperation and partnership between the two entities.
The discussions focused on supporting and empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs in Yanbu Governorate. The meeting emphasized the importance of aligning efforts between “Monsha’at” and the Yanbu Chamber to coordinate joint initiatives and strengthen the sustainability of the local business ecosystem.
This collaboration aims to drive the growth of entrepreneurial ventures and contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by increasing the sector’s contribution to the national GDP.
As part of the visit, “Monsha’at” held an open forum where the Governor engaged with a number of local entrepreneurs.
The session provided a platform to discuss key challenges and barriers faced by SMEs, as well as to highlight available investment opportunities and support initiatives. This forum is part of a broader series of meetings across the Kingdom aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and enhancing regional economic development.
Yanbu Governorate is considered one of the Kingdom’s key economic hubs, thanks to its competitive advantages in tourism, industry, and other sectors, making it a fertile ground for SME growth. At the conclusion of the visit, the Governor of “Monsha’at” reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to working in close partnership with the Yanbu Chamber, under the guidance and support of His Highness the Governor of Madinah Region and His Highness the Deputy Governor, to facilitate entrepreneurial activity in the governorate and strengthen its contribution to the local economy.
