Diriyah Company Kakao Mobility Partnership Drives Smart Mobility Infrastructure

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — Diriyah Company has formed a strategic alliance with Kakao Mobility to develop smart urban mobility within the Diriyah project. The agreement enhances transport systems and supports Vision 2030 by integrating advanced digital infrastructure.

Diriyah Company Kakao Mobility Launch Smart Parking Solutions

The two entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch smart parking technologies and digital mobility platforms. These services will serve the first phase of the Diriyah master plan. The initiative delivers seamless mobility access for both residents and tourists.

The partners will begin with site assessments. These will help select optimal zones for smart parking deployment and digital integration. Technologies include occupancy sensors, automated entry, and real-time data systems.

Mobility Infrastructure to Expand Through Phased Rollout

Diriyah Company and Kakao Mobility will roll out mobility infrastructure in stages. The pilot phase will test advanced parking systems, user interaction tools, and digital connectivity. Results from this phase will inform further deployment across Diriyah.

This measured approach ensures that solutions align with market demand and operational goals. Flexibility in the rollout supports long-term success for both partners.

Kakao Mobility to Power Smart Transit Technologies

Kakao Mobility will deploy its Fusion Indoor Navigation (FIN) system to improve underground parking navigation in Diriyah. This digital platform uses mobile network signals to guide drivers efficiently, reducing time spent searching for parking.

Beyond parking, the system enhances mobility infrastructure by enabling data-driven transit planning. The integration of this platform helps Diriyah meet global benchmarks in urban transportation.

Vision 2030 Integration Through Diriyah Kakao Collaboration

The Diriyah Company Kakao Mobility partnership supports Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification. The Diriyah project targets over 50 million annual visits by 2030. It is expected to contribute SAR 70 billion (USD 18.6 billion) to the economy and create 178,000 jobs.

With smart mobility as a cornerstone, Diriyah evolves as a global destination where innovation and heritage intersect.
