Made in Saudi Campaign Launches “From Our Shelves to Our Guests” Initiative for Pilgrims

Makkah, Saudi Arabia — The Made in Saudi campaign, in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Pilgrim Experience Program, and the Coordinating Council for Domestic Pilgrim Services, has launched the 2025 initiative “From Our Shelves to Our Guests.” This effort aims to showcase Saudi-made products while reinforcing corporate and public social responsibility by offering high-quality goods to pilgrims during Hajj.

Made in Saudi Campaign Expands Pilgrim Support with Local Goods

The campaign will distribute over 10,000 boxes containing more than 88,000 food, medical, and consumer products. Each item bears the “Made in Saudi” label and was selected for its relevance and quality. The number of products marks a 60% increase over last year’s effort, signaling a growing role for local industry in supporting seasonal services.

Thamer Al-Meshrafi, spokesperson for the Saudi Export Development Authority, emphasized the initiative’s value as a model for collaboration. It reflects how the national industry can contribute to society by serving pilgrims and amplifying Saudi Arabia’s values of generosity and hospitality.

Corporate Responsibility and Digital Access Highlighted

The Made in Saudi campaign also partnered with leading national digital platforms to support volunteer efforts. Apps now feature dedicated charity tabs during Hajj, expanding access and visibility to charitable causes. These efforts align with broader goals to integrate digital tools into national service initiatives.

Since its launch, the campaign has enlisted over 3,000 companies and certified more than 16,500 products. Operated under the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), Made in Saudi continues to drive local competitiveness in regional and international markets.
