The Saudi Standard’s View: NHC Expands Housing with Lazurde Destination

The Lazurde Destination project reinforces NHC’s role as a key player in Saudi Arabia’s real estate sector, especially in the Eastern Province. With Aramco’s large workforce and Al Khobar’s importance as an industrial hub, demand for accessible housing remains strong.

The project supports Vision 2030 by boosting homeownership and improving urban livability. Its diverse housing mix—affordable apartments to mid-range villas—caters to a wide segment of the workforce, including Aramco employees and residents in the energy, logistics, and service sectors.

NHC’s focus on walkability, green spaces, and integrated services reflects global urban development trends. The layout allows residents to access parks and community spaces within minutes, promoting healthier, more sustainable lifestyles.

With 8,100 homes spread over nearly 4 million square meters, Lazurde Destination is among the region’s largest planned communities. Its scale contributes to job creation, housing supply, and real estate market depth. Projects like this also support Saudi Arabia’s broader economic diversification and quality of life goals.
