SPA — The National Housing Company (NHC) signed a housing development agreement with China’s CACC to deliver over 1,400 residential units in Jeddah. The deal, announced on July 9, 2025, was formalized in the presence of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid Al-Hogail.

NHC CACC Housing Agreement Jeddah Boosts Residential Development

The “Rihab Al-Sadan” project forms part of the larger Al-Sadan destination. NHC is using this development to expand quality housing options for Saudi families. The agreement supports the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals by increasing housing supply and creating model communities.

Spanning 4.2 million square meters, the Al-Sadan masterplan includes mosques, schools, health centers, sports clubs, retail facilities, and over 500,000 square meters of green space. It also features safe pedestrian walkways and bicycle lanes. These elements reflect global standards in urban design.

This agreement follows Minister Al-Hogail’s recent visit to China. During that visit, he oversaw the signing of several strategic deals, including a plan to build 20,000 homes across Saudi Arabia. The Rihab Al-Sadan project is one of the first implementations.

Aligning with Vision 2030

This project is more than just a construction contract. It reflects a growing collaboration between Saudi Arabia and China in real estate development. By partnering with CACC, NHC is accelerating housing delivery while reinforcing local supply chains.

The deal also supports the Housing Program under Vision 2030. That program aims to raise homeownership in Saudi Arabia to 70%. NHC contributes by offering affordable, high-quality homes that meet modern living standards. These efforts position the company as a key driver of the Kingdom’s housing transformation.

The Saudi Standard’s View: Strategic Housing Partnerships Set the Pace

This agreement between NHC and CACC marks a new chapter in Saudi real estate delivery. The focus is shifting from planning to execution. With Jeddah as a launchpad, NHC is proving that strategic partnerships can fast-track Vision 2030 goals.

Notably, the Rihab Al-Sadan project emphasizes sustainability and liveability. By integrating green spaces, walkable areas, and essential services, the development sets a new benchmark for urban communities in the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia is not just building houses—it’s shaping future cities.
